What are Exosome Treatments?

30 to 150 nmThe size of an exosome: around a thousand times narrower than a human hair.

Personalised care for your intimate area, scalp, skin and body. At Avalera, our treatments combine exosome technology made from plants with carefully selected ingredients, with a dedicated formulation for each need.

How is it performed?

  1. We assess your skin, or the area to be treated, and agree whether this treatment belongs in your plan.
  2. We cleanse and prepare the area, then apply the formulation chosen for it, on its own or straight after a microneedling session, depending on your plan.
  3. We explain your aftercare before you leave.

Who may benefit?

Skin quality and radiance

For dry, dull or tired looking skin, focusing on hydration, texture and elasticity, and softening the appearance of fine lines.

Skin prone to blemishes and redness

Specialist care for oily skin or skin prone to blemishes and redness, selected following an assessment of the concern and its causes.

Who it may not suit

It may not be suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over broken or infected skin, or with some skin conditions. Some formulations contain CBD. Pain, itching or unusual discharge in the intimate area should be checked by your GP first.

We confirm suitability at your consultation.

What to expect

Sessions
Usually a course of three to five sessions, two to four weeks apart, depending on the area.

Results

Exosome treatments are often used as a course, on their own or alongside other treatments, to support hydration and the overall look of the skin.

Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed. We explain what may be realistic for your skin at your consultation.

  • Follow the skincare advice we give you after your session.

Common questions

Still have a question? Email us.

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes. We assess your skin, medical history and goals before any treatment, and explain your options and costs. You decide afterwards whether to go ahead.

Which areas can be treated?

The skin of the face, the scalp, the body and the external intimate area, each with its own formulation. We advise which suits you at your consultation.

Is intimate area care discussed privately?

Yes. We talk it through privately at your consultation, and you decide afterwards whether to go ahead.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your skin and your goals. We agree a plan with you at your consultation.

How much does it cost?

A single session is £300 for the face, hair or the intimate area. That is the price for one session, not a package, and includes VAT. Your consultation is free: we confirm your price there, and explain any package price if a course of sessions may suit you.
