Pressotherapy & Lymphatic Drainage

Rhythmic air compression through a specialised suit, to support lymphatic drainage. Body care, not a weight loss plan.

What is Pressotherapy & Lymphatic Drainage?

Pressotherapy uses controlled, sequential air pressure delivered through a specialised suit containing multiple air chambers.

During the treatment, these chambers inflate and deflate in a programmed sequence, creating a rhythmic compression effect on the tissues. The treatment does not use heat, needles or electrical energy. It works entirely through controlled mechanical air compression.

How is it performed?

  1. You lie down and we fit the suit and its air chambers to your legs, abdomen or arms.
  2. The chambers inflate and deflate in a programmed sequence, giving a rhythmic compression. You can ask us to change the pressure at any time.
  3. We remove the suit and you can go back to your day.

How does Pressotherapy & Lymphatic Drainage work?

The mechanical pressure helps to move excess fluid from the tissues towards the lymphatic vessels, and also supports venous blood flow from the limbs back towards the heart.

The lymphatic system then carries this excess fluid through the lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes before it returns to the bloodstream, where the body can naturally regulate and eliminate excess fluid through the kidneys.

Who may benefit?

This treatment may help to:

  • Reduce fluid retention and puffiness.
  • Relieve feelings of heaviness and tiredness in the legs.
  • Support lymphatic drainage.
  • Support venous circulation.
  • Improve the appearance of cellulite when fluid retention contributes to uneven skin texture.
  • Provide a gentle compression massage that promotes relaxation and a feeling of lightness.

It is not a treatment for fat, muscle or weight loss, and it is offered only when compression is suitable for you.

Who it may not suit

It is not suitable for everyone, including people with some heart or circulation conditions, a history of blood clots, or during pregnancy.

We confirm suitability at your consultation.

Common questions

Still have a question? Email us.

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes. We assess your skin, medical history and goals before any treatment, and explain your options and costs. You decide afterwards whether to go ahead.

Will it help me lose weight?

No. Pressotherapy is not a treatment for weight loss.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your skin and your goals. We agree a plan with you at your consultation.

How much does it cost?

A single session is £125 for full body lymphatic drainage. That is the price for one session, not a package, and includes VAT. Your consultation is free: we confirm your price there, and explain any package price if a course of sessions may suit you.
