Potenza RF Microneedling
Microneedling and radiofrequency together, to support firmness, texture and overall skin quality.
For the face and body

What is Potenza RF Microneedling?
Potenza RF Microneedling is an advanced aesthetic treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy. It is designed to stimulate skin remodelling and to improve skin firmness, elasticity, density, texture and overall quality from within.
The Potenza system combines the following features:
- Mechanical stimulation through microneedling.
- Controlled thermal stimulation within the dermis.
- Monopolar and bipolar radiofrequency technologies.
- Operating frequencies of 1 MHz and 2 MHz.
- Insulated needle options for greater control over where RF energy is delivered.
- The ability to target multiple tissue depths.
- Air and pressure assisted technology, designed to help topical products pass through the microchannels created during treatment.
- A single needle option for highly precise targeting of small, specific areas.
These features distinguish Potenza from some RF microneedling systems that may operate using only one RF mode or a single frequency.
What sets Potenza apart from conventional RF microneedling?
Potenza combines multiple radiofrequency technologies and a range of treatment options within one platform, so treatment can be tailored to the area being treated, the required depth and the tissue being targeted.
How is it performed?
- We go over the areas you want to treat and choose the tip, needle depth and energy for each one, to suit your skin.
- We move the Potenza handpiece over the area in a set pattern. Fine needles enter the skin and the RF energy is delivered at the depth we have chosen.
- We finish with a soothing product and explain your aftercare.
How does Potenza work within the skin?
During treatment, very fine needles enter the skin to carefully selected depths, depending on the treatment area and the tissue being targeted.
Once the needles reach the required depth, radiofrequency (RF) energy is delivered directly into the tissue.
Unlike treatments that mainly heat the skin's surface and let that heat travel into deeper layers, Potenza delivers RF energy within the targeted tissue. The tissue's natural electrical resistance converts this energy into controlled, localised heat within the treatment area.
This creates microscopic zones of thermal coagulation within the dermis, stimulating the skin's natural repair and remodelling response.
The controlled heat causes existing collagen fibres to contract and reorganise, while stimulating fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing the skin's main structural components.
This promotes the formation of new collagen, known as neocollagenesis, alongside the renewal and reorganisation of collagen, elastin and the extracellular matrix.
This remodelling continues over the weeks after treatment, and may gradually help to improve skin density, firmness, elasticity, texture and overall quality.
Who may benefit?
Potenza may help with a wide range of skin concerns, including:
- Skin laxity and loss of firmness.
- Skin elasticity and density.
- Fine lines and wrinkles.
- The appearance of acne scarring.
- Enlarged pores.
- Uneven skin texture and surface irregularities.
- Overall skin quality and remodelling.
- Skin laxity and texture concerns in selected areas of the body.
Who it may not suit
It may not be suitable during pregnancy, with active skin infection, some skin conditions or certain implanted medical devices.
We confirm suitability at your consultation.
Results
Any change tends to develop gradually over the weeks after treatment, as the skin renews itself.

Do I need a consultation first?
Yes. We assess your skin, medical history and goals before any treatment, and explain your options and costs. You decide afterwards whether to go ahead.
Does it hurt?
Many people feel warmth and prickling. We discuss comfort before we start and can adjust the settings.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your skin and your goals. We agree a plan with you at your consultation.
How much does it cost?
A single session is £850 for the face or the body. You can add a skin booster to a face session for £250. That is the price for one session, not a package, and includes VAT. Your consultation is free: we confirm your price there, and explain any package price if a course of sessions may suit you.
With our current offer, one session is £680 until Thursday 5 November 2026, booked after a consultation confirms it suits you.
